The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Tulkarm successfully ambushed Israeli occupation forces, resulting in the death of one soldier and several others injured in the occupied West Bank.
The complex ambush on the al-Ghanem axis in Tulkarm caught the Israeli occupation forces off guard, leading to casualties and losses in their ranks, as confirmed by the Brigades. Resistance fighters detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and engaged in a fierce gun battle with the occupation soldiers.
Across various confrontation axes, the Palestinian Resistance continued to confront Israeli incursions in Tulkarm and Jenin using machine guns and IEDs, achieving direct hits on Israeli ranks. The al-Mujahideen Brigades in the West Bank released footage of fighters targeting Israeli infantry forces in the Jenin refugee camp.
Israeli occupation forces launched an aggression, that is expected to be the largest in 22 years, on several governorates in the occupied West Bank late on Tuesday night.
The Israeli military command said that its forces had initiated a “wide-scale operation” in the governates of Tulkarm and Jenin, targeting Resistance fighters.
