Israeli aggression on Lebanon proceeds as a Zionist drone strike killed a senior leader of Lebanon’s Jamaa Islamiya group in the country’s east.
Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported on Thursday that Mahmoud Mohammad Jbara, a senior leader in the Jamaa Islamiya group, was martyred in an Israeli drone strike on his car in the Western Bekaa area in eastern Lebanon.

“This coward crime won’t discourage us from performing the duty to defend the land and people of south Lebanon as well as to support the people of Palestine,” the Jamaa Islamiya said in a statement.
Additionally, Hamas’ Qassam Brigades mourned Jbara as saying: “With the utmost pride, honor, and confidence in the near victory, we announce the martyrdom of our heroic martyr, Mohammad Hamed Jbara.”
The Israeli aggression follows a recent warning from Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who vowed on Wednesday to strike new Israeli settlements if the Zionist enemy continues to target civilians in Lebanon.
