An Israeli settler killed after sustaining serious gunshot wounds in a targeted attack on Saturday morning in the city of Qalqilya in the northern occupied West Bank.
Reports from the Hebrew newspaper “Maariv” confirmed the fatal outcome of the shooting incident, with the occupation army verifying the death of the injured setter in Qalqilya.
According to press sources, the attack occurred when Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire on a vehicle bearing an Israeli license plate near Sofin, east of Qalqilya. The sttack left the settler critically injured, prompting a swift response from the occupation forces who mobilized reinforcements and swiftly descended on the city.
Prior to the military’s arrival, Palestinian youths set the targeted vehicle ablaze, further escalating the situation as occupation forces intensified their presence at the eastern entrance of Qalqilya.

In a separate development, Al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Brigade engaged in a fierce clash with a special Zionist force in the Jabriyat neighborhood, unleashing heavy gunfire and explosive devices in the confrontation.
Elsewhere, at dawn on Saturday, Palestinian resistance fighters confronted the occupation forces’ incursion into the city of Nablus from multiple fronts. Clashes erupted primarily in the Rafidia area, as well as near the Al-Ain and Balata camps, with intense exchanges of fire witnessed during the incursion into eastern Nablus and Al-Ain camp to the city’s west.
Amidst the chaos, a young man fell victim to brutality when occupation forces assaulted him during their operation in the University Street area of Nablus. The Red Crescent reported the injury, highlighting the obstruction faced by ambulance crews in providing aid in the Rafidia neighborhood.
