Two Israelis were killed on Friday and four others were wounded in a shooting attack on a highway near Bnei Re’em in the Zionist entity’s south.
Israeli media said the shooter arrived at the scene in a stolen car and fired at Israeli settlers waiting at a bus stop at the Re’em Masmiya Junction, located east of Ashdod.
Two settlers were killed, two others were seriously wounded, one was moderately wounded, and one another was lightly wounded, according to Israeli media.

The Jerusalem Post reported that initial investigations indicated that the shooter was martyred at the scene of the attack by an armed settler. It added that he was a resident of Shuafat in East Al-Quds (Jerusalem) with Israeli residency.
Palestinian media identified the Palestinian martyr as Fadi Jamjum.

Israel Police chief Kobi Shabtai and the so-called National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir headed to the scene after the attack.
Shabtai told reporters that police had raised their level of alert, while Ben Gvir used the opportunity to renew calls for Zionist settlers hold guns.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad spokesperson Mohammad Hajj Moussa welcomed the attack, saying it served as a response to the war in Gaza.
“We call on our people to intensify operations and pain the enemy in response to its crimes, because it is the only language this enemy understands,” said Hajj Moussa.
