Hezbollah went ahead with pro-Gaza strikes against Israeli outposts across the border between Lebanon and northern Palestine, in a bid to exert pressure on the Israeli northern front.
Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance announced on Monday its fighters have targeted so far 11 border posts across the border, affirming that the strikes caused direct hits.
The strikes have been “in support to our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their brave and honorable resistance,” the statements released by Hezbollah’s Military Media Departmnet read.
The department provided photos showing the coordinates of the area where the targeted Israeli posts are located.
The first statement announced that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted “at 1:00 AM on Monday, December 4, 2023, a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in Shtula greenfield and Al-Raheb site, using appropriate weapons and achieving direct hits,” the statement, obtained by Al-Manar read.
In the second statement, the Islamic Resistance said direct hits were reported as resistance fighters aim at Al-Baghdadi post at 9:00 AM.
The third statement declared that the fighters of the Islamic Resistance precisely targeted, at 11:00 AM, the site of Ruwaisat Al-Alam in the hills of Kfar Shouba and the occupied Shebaa Farms.
Later at 11:30 AM, the Islamic Resistance fighters deployed guided missiles to target a gathering of Israeli occupation forces positioned east of Misgav Am, the fourth statement read, adding that directs hits have been reported.
The fifth statement declared that the Lebanese resistance movement targeted an Israeli infantry force positioned in Karm Al-Tuffah east of Branit Barracks and Al-Raheb outpost at 14:00, resulting in direct hits.
Then at 14:30, Shtula greenfield was targeted anew by the Islamic Resistance fighters, the sixth statement read, affirming that direct hits was resulted by the strike.
At 15:10 PM, Hezbollah fighters targeted an Israeli infantry force at Hanita greenfield with appropriate weapons, achieving direct hits.
Twenty minutes later, Birkat Risha post was also directly hit, according to a Hezbollah Military Media statement.
A statement released at 15:40 PM read that Hezbollah fighters hit the Israeli Jal Al-Alam post with suitable weapons, achieving direct hits.
In a late night statement, Hezbollah announced the targeting of two Israeli vehicles involved in igniting fires near the Lebanese border. “At 10:40 pm on Monday, December 4, 2023, the Islamic Resistance fighters executed a precision strike, targeting two vehicles affiliated with the Israeli occupation army’s engineering corps. The vehicles, engaged in igniting the woods opposite the Ramya site, were directly impacted by guided missiles, leading to their ignition and causing casualties among their crew, with fatalities and injuries reported,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon Ali Shoeib reported Israeli attacks on several areas across the southern border area. He said that the occupation forces fired flare bombs at the vicinities of Kfar Kila, Odeisseh and Al-Naqoura.
