The heart-wrenching incident unfolded as the Israeli occupation forces unleashed a barrage of airstrikes, ruthlessly striking the square of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, located in the western part of Gaza City.

The director of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, in a somber confirmation, disclosed that at least six individuals have lost their lives as a direct result of the Israeli bombing.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza added to the wave of condemnation, asserting that a maternity hospital within Al-Shifa also fell victim to an artillery shell assault, resulting in the death of an innocent individual and the injury of a child.
The hospital’s significance was evident from the sheer number of displaced people seeking refuge within its walls, around 50,000 individuals who fled the relentless Israeli airstrikes targeting northern Gaza and eastern Gaza City. However, the Israeli occupation forces showed no regard for the precarious situation, as they intensified their assault on innocent lives.
Targeting Al-Rantisi Hospital
Al-Rantisi Specialized Hospital for Children became yet another target, with bombs devastating the hospital’s basement and parking lot. The callous strike ignited a massive fire that engulfed numerous hospital vehicles.

Targeting Al–Awda Hospital
Meanwhile, Al Awda Hospital faced a similar fate, as the occupation forces unleashed their wrath in the vicinity. The bombing caused extensive destruction to the hospital’s structure, leaving ambulance vehicles damaged and rendering it immensely difficult for the hospital to provide much-needed medical services to a vulnerable population.

Targeting Indonesian Hospital
Israeli occupation army aircraft carried out a violent bombardment targeting the vicinity of the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources said that there were martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli bombing surrounding the hospital, and a state of panic prevailed among the patients in the hospital.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza said: “The occupation has entered the most dangerous stage since the start of the aggression by targeting the center of hospitals, and striking the vicinity of the Indonesian Hospital, the backbone of health services in the northern Gaza Strip, and medical teams are unable to count the victims and wounded.”

Targeting Al-Nasr Children’s Hospital
With no respite in sight, the aggression continued into the early hours of Friday. Al-Nasr Children’s Hospital in the Al-Nasr neighborhood became the latest victim, as occupation aircraft targeted its very entrance. This blatant act of aggression forced the hospital to cease all operations, leaving the community without the vital services it so desperately needs.
Israeli Doctors Advocate for Hospital Bombing
one hundred Israeli doctors within the occupation entity’s hospitals recently signed a letter endorsing the bombing of Al-Shifa Hospital.
These doctors assert that such an act is not in conflict with the ethics of their profession.
This distressing statement from Israeli doctors emerged just two days after the Israeli occupation forces targeted a convoy of wounded individuals, who were being transported in ambulances from Al-Shifa Hospital to the Rafah border crossing with Egypt.
The convoy was intended to facilitate their travel outside the Gaza Strip for essential medical treatment. This merciless missile strike resulted in the loss of 15 lives and left 60 others injured.
This is not the first time the Israeli occupation forces have committed such a horrific act. In a previous incident, the Baptist Hospital in Gaza was mercilessly bombed, claiming the lives of over 500 individuals and leaving countless others wounded.
Ashraf Al-Qudra, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, has grimly revealed that the toll of the Israeli aggression has now risen to a staggering 10,818 martyrs, including 4,412 children, 2,918 women, and 667 elderly individuals. Additionally, a staggering 26,905 citizens have been injured since October 7th.
This reprehensible act of targeting a medical facility, a sanctuary meant to provide solace and healing, has sent shockwaves throughout the international community. The brazen disregard for the sanctity of hospitals and the lives they protect raises serious concerns about the moral compass guiding the actions of the Israeli occupation forces.
