Lebanese Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamieh inaugurated a rehabilitation project in Kfar Shuba hills, amid security measures taken by Israeli occupation forces near the area.
In a ceremony in the southern border town, Minister Hamieh said the project, dubbed “The Road of Onset” is to serve the people who have been steadily standing against the Israeli occupation in the area.
In his speech, the Hezbollah minister said the road will be resurfaced in a project funded by charitable people and partisan parties.
“The resurfacing of Kfar Shuba road is a major official project in an area that the Israeli occupation has been planning to remain neglected,” Minister Hamieh said, hoping that other projects will be carried out in the border region.
Talking to Al-Manar’s Ali Shoeib (in the video below), Minister Hamieh said: “Look at the Israelis, they left, here we are and here we will remain,” referring to an Israeli tank which attempted to approach the area but then returned back.

The project inauguration comes amin hightened tensions between Lebanon and the Israeli occupation regime which launched a construction work in the Lebanese territory in Kfar Shuba, in a move denounced by Beirut as a violation to the Lebanese soverignty.
Hezbollah has repeatedly warne dthe Israeli enemy against provocative moves in the area, with Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah vowing that the Lebanese resistance party will go ahead with the battle to defend the country’s rights.
