The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) ramped up raids across the West Bank on Thursday, as they carried out massive arrest campaign, few days after the heroic resistance operations in Huwara and Al-Khalil (Hebron).
Palestinian media reported that IOF arrested 28 Palestinians in several raids across the cities in the occupied West Bank, raising the number of arrested Palestinian to 100 since Tuesday.
Five days after the operation in Huwara killed two Israelis, the occupation army is going ahead with a manhunt for the Palestinian fighter who carried out the shooting.
On Thursday, Israeli media said the Palestinian was identified as Osama Issa Bani Fadl, who is still at large. The IOF Israeli security forces mapped the house of Bani Fadl, in a rare move before capturing the suspect.

The mapping – done in preparation for the house’s likely demolition – was carried out in the Palestinian man’s house in the village of Aqraba, east of Huwara and near the West Bank city of Nablus.
Aqraba has been since Saturday, under a tight blockade imposed by the IOF, who set up several checkpoints at the town’s entrances. Head of Aqraba municipality Salah Jaber stated that the IOF had raided about 20 houses across the town as part of the manhunt launched for the Palestinian who carried out Huwara operation.
Meanwhile on Thursday, dozens of Zionist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed provocative prayers at the holy compound. The settlers were backed by Israeli occupation forces, as part of repeated Israeli attempts to impose the spatial and temporal division of Al-Aqsa.

On the other hand, Palestinians intensified their acts of resistance, defying the repressive measures by the IOF across the West Bank. Palestinian media reported at least 25 acts of resistance in the last 24 hours, including shootings, detonating explosive devises and confronting settlers’ attacks, as well as clashes with occupation forces.
