Several drones were shot down in Moscow, there were no casualties or damage, a spokesman for emergencies services told Sputnik.
The first drone was taken down near Kubinka, followed by two near the village of Valuyevo. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has accused Ukraine of another attack on the Russian capital, which was successfully repelled. All flight restrictions previously imposed in Vnukovo Airport have now been lifted.
Later on, two more drones were shot down by air defense systems in New Moscow, bringing the total to five. The Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed that no injuries or damage were caused in these terrorist attacks. This is not the first time that Ukraine has used drones to attack Moscow, with the previous attacks occurring on June 21 and May 30.
