The First International Conference on Martyr Qasem Suleimani School of Thought was held in Tehran amid the heavy participation of local government officials, the axis of resistance’s representatives, and foreign guests.
Parliament Speaker Mohammad -Baqer Qalibaf stressed that the achievements of General Suleimani complement the Islamic Revolution, underlining the importance of his efforts in face of the US arrogance.
Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem indicated that the main goal must remain the liberation of the occupied Palestinian territories, underscoring setting the whole region in addition to the new generations free from the American Hegemony.
It is worth noting the conference is held to consecrate the thoughts of Martyr Suleimani so that they become guidelines for the new generations.
On January 3, 2020, a US drone attack claimed the two martyrs Suleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the former deputy chief of Hashd Shaabi Committee, after targeting their convoy near Baghdad airport.
