According to Al-Manar TV sources, the US energy envoy, Amos Hochstein, contacted the Lebanese Deputy House Speaker, Elias Bou Saab, to inform him about the date of his imminent visit to Lebanon.
Hochstein said that he would arrive in Beirut late Thursday, expressing the United States full commitment to reach a fair agreement that satisfies the two sides of the maritime border dispute.
Bou Saab told Al-Manar that he reiterated, during his conversation with the US diplomat, the clear Lebanese stance which insists on obtaining all the national rights and resources.
Thus, Hochstein is left with the Israeli side that is confused and has not been able to finalize its stance yet.
Away from pessimism, the US and ‘Israel’ have not shown any serious intention to reach a solution to the dispute; however, Lebanon relies on a mighty military power that can change all the equations.
Upon the threat of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, the Resistance navy has prepared its missiles to strike all the Israeli gas platforms across the occupied coasts if Lebanon is prevented from utilizing its maritime gas resources.
