The Zionist media outlets indicated that the indirect negotiations between ‘Israel’ and Lebanon to demarcate the maritime borders have witnessed a remarkable advance ahead of the US mediator Amos Hochestein’s visit to Beirut next week.
The Israeli analysts mentioned that Tel Aviv will be obliged to make concessions in order to avoid any military confrontation with Hezbollah in light of the threats of Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah.
The Zionist media clarified that ‘Israel’ will abandon its demands regarding the border lines it had previously insisted on , adding that Lebanon would obtain most of the disputable area.
“Israel will just insist on sharing a small part of Qana field,” Ehud Yaari, the Arab affairs expert, said.
Meanwhile, the Zionist media noted that the Israeli cabinet will meet on Sunday to follow up Hochestein’s visit to Lebanon, adding that the ministers were provided with updated proposal which the US mediator will hand to the Lebanese officials.
