Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei receives visiting Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Ayatollah Khamenei met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who arrived in Tehran earlier on Tuesday to take part in a three-way summit with the Iranian and Turkish presidents Ebrahim Raisi and Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the Syria peace process.

Prior to Putin’s meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei, the Iranian and Russian presidents discussed ways to boost mutual relations in different fields, including energy and transit as well as trade exchanges.

Putin and Raeisi also exchanged views about the latest developments in the region.
