Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday shot dead a Palestinian woman in the southern West Bank over allegation that she was armed with a knife.
The woman allegedly approached an occupation soldier stationed near the Al Aroub refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, Israeli occupation military claimed, adding that IOF “responded” with gunfire.
The Palestinian Authority Health Ministry identified the woman as Ghufran Haroun Hamed Warasneh, a former security detainee. The ministry said the bullet entered her body under her left arm and exited on the right side.
The Israeli occupation military frequently attributes alleged stabbing attempts to justify killing of Palestinian people.
