Fuel prices have dropped across Lebanon on Tuesday as General Directorate of Oil issued a new table of prices.
The price of 95-octane gasoline canister decreased by LBP 6000 to LBP 456,000 and that of 98-octane gasoline by LBP 7000 to LBP 466,000, local media reported.
The price of diesel oil canister dropped by LBP 13000 to LBP 508,000, and that of LP gas by LBP 11000, reaching LBP 317,000.
The Ukrainian conflict and its impact on the global oil prices have worsened Lebanon’s economic crisis, which has already pulled more than three-quarters of the country’s population into poverty, and devalued the Lebanese pound by about 90 percent against the US dollar since August 2019.
