Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc, Hasan Ezzeddine said the Lebanese Resistance party will run for the upcoming elections with high national and moral responsibility.
During a local ceremony in the southern town of Ayta Al-Shaab, MP Ezzeddine said that the upcoming parliamentary vote is an important challenge and that Hezbollah will take part in this battle against local allies of the US, Saudi and France.
“Whoever wants to stand by the right will vote for those fought against the Israeli enemy and liberated the land,” the lawmaker said, stressing that Hezbollah Resistance defended Lebanon’s sovereignty and made this country dignified.
He stated that the confrontation with the US and its allies is existing, saying: “Every day we are battling the US, injustice and corruption. We are trying to reform as much as we can.”
In this context, MP Ezeddine noted that Hezbollah’s local policy is different from its policy when the issue is related to the Israeli enemy.
“It’s unfair to compare between the Resistance’s achievements with Hezbollah’s local accomplishment.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Hezbollah MP described the events taking place in Ukraine as ‘hypocrisy’ exerted by the US “which makes all those who stand against its oppression as devils.”
“Russia took the decision to make the special operation in Ukraine after the US and its allies broke all commitments following the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Ukraine, backed by US became a real source of threat to Russia’s national security,” MP Ezeddine added.
