Head of Loyalty to Resistance bloc, Hajj Mohammad Raad, indicated that the proposed candidate for presidency is that who accompanied the Israeli enemy during its invasion of Lebanon in 1982.

“They want to take us back to the Israeli era; their arrogance has reached this level,” MP Raad said while addressing a martyr mourning ceremony in southern Lebanon.

Some Lebanese parties are accustomed to contacting the Israeli enemy, while the entire world is trying to communicate with the Resistance, according to MP Raad.

MP Raad noted that the Israeli enemy is not attacking Lebanon just because it is afraid of the Resistance response, adding that this keeping the Zionist entity under the effect of the balance of deterrence formula.

Meanwhile, MP Raad indicated that the importance of the upcoming parliamentary elections lies mainly in identifying the political affiliation of the new president.

It is a matter of whether the new parliament will elect a President that preserves the national sovereignty or signs a normalization deal with the Israeli enemy.
