Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Hasan Fadlallah said Monday that the decision to cope with the economic crisis in Lebanon is part of Hezbollah’s policy and apart from the ‘election season’.
In a local ceremony in the southern town of Ayta Al-Shaab, MP Fadlallah said Hezbollah will take part in the upcoming parliamentary vote with two aims: “coping with the economic crisis and confronting the US campaign through its tools in Lebanon.”
“Hezbollah’s decision to deal with the economic and financial crisis at the Cabinet, Parliament or the group’s associations aims at stopping financial collapse and leading country towards recovery.”
“We have a salvation program to confront the economic crisis,” the lawmaker said, adding that Hezbollah is trying to discuss and share this program at Cabinet sessions.
In this context, MP Fadlallah wondered about the other side’s program and achievements on the financial level.
“The other side’s only program is to surrender to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).”
“We are fully ready and excited to take part in this election in a bid to prevent the US, through its tools, to control Lebanon,” MP Fadlallah said in remarks carried by Al-Manar.
