Member of Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc, MP Hasan Fadlallah, indicated that the crisis between Russia and Ukraine is caused by the Us interventions.

Mp Fadlallah recalled how the United States stirred sedition and caused a civil war in Lebanon, adding that wherever America interferes, it causes woes.

Commenting on the Lebanese Foreign Ministry statement which denounced the Russia special operation in Ukraine, MP Fadlallah stressed that a more diplomatic rhetoric should have been used in order to preserve the national interests.

The official stance of the Lebanese government must take into account the national interests, not the position of certain political forces, according to MP Fadlallah.

For his part, the former minister Mohammad Fneich stressed that the Lebanese statement serves only the US hegemony, adding that Moscow has decided the special operation in Ukraine in order to protect the Russian national security.

Labor Minister Mustafa Bayram reflected during Friday’s cabinet session Hezbollah dissatisfaction with the statement, stressing that the condemnation of the Russian operation in Ukraine violates the principle of neutrality admitted by the Lebanese authorities, shakes the governmental solidarity and exposes Lebanon to the dangerous repercussions of the dispute.

The Lebanese foreign ministry had issued a statement which denounced the Russian military operation in Ukraine and called on Moscow to halt it immediately.
