Al-Wefaq Islamic Association, a key group in the Bahraini opposition, held Monday a conference on the 11th anniversary of the revolution against Bahrain’s authoritarian regime at Risalat hall in Beirut’s southern suburb.
The orators highlighted the sublime values of the Bahraini revolution, reiterating rejection of the regime’s oppression and normalization of ties with the Zionist entity.
In this context, the Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett, upon an official invitation, departed for Bahrain in order to “consolidate ties with the Gulf monarchy”, according to media reports.
Meanwhile, thousands of Bahraini took to streets on the same day across various Bahraini cities in peaceful protests to demand reform, democracy and freedom and reject the normalization track.
