Amal Movement issued a statement in which indicated that the case of anarchy witnessed during the latest government session confirms the occurrence of constitutional violations, stressing that the members of the Development and Liberation parliamentary bloc will seriously discuss the draft state budget law at the parliament in order to prevent any new taxes.
Hezbollah and Amal Movement ministers reported that the cabinet session set to discuss and endorse the draft state budget law was ended before any organized discussion about the 2022 budget.
The statement also urged commitment to the framework agreement pertaining the demarcation of the maritime borders in order to preserve Lebanon’s rights and natural resources.
House Speaker Nabih Berri announced Thursday in a press conference the framework agreement representing the basis for the launch of indirect negotiations between Lebanon and the Zionist entity on demarcating the land and maritime borders.
Speaker Berri stressed that the negotiations will take place at the UNIFIL headquarters in Naqoura in southern Lebanon, adding that the United Nations will sponsor the “indirect talks” in accordance with April 1996 Understanding and the UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
Amal Movement also denounced the Israeli aggression on Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Al-Quds, adding that it indicates the criminal path of the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people.
