Yemeni revolutionaries hit the Emirati depth on Monday in a wide-scale operation that struck sensitive posts in the capital, Abu Dhabi.
Yemeni sources reported that 20 drones and 10 ballistic missiles belonging to the Yemeni Armed Forces hit sensitive places across Abu Dhabi.
Sources close to the politburo of Ansarullah revolutionary group said that the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi International Airport were targeted during the operation.
“It’s the warning attack after our strategic patience was over. We have repeatedly sent warning messages to Bin Zayed’s boys,” the sources said, as quoted by Yemeni media.
They added that the Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree is to announce details of the operation later on Monday.
Abu Dhabi police confirmed that the Emirati capital was subjected to an attack by “suspected drones”, noting that at least three people were killed.
For his part, Yemeni Information Minister of Sanaa’s salvation government Daifallah Al-Shami said: “The punishment message was delivered to UAE.”
Yemen has been since March 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-UAE aggression. Hundreds of thousands of Yemenis were killed or injured in the aggression which targeted residential areas across the Arab impoverished country. Other countries, including Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco and Sudan.
The aggression states also have been imposing a harsh blockade on Yemen.
