The Constitutional Council on Tuesday failed to reach a decision over the appeal filed by the “Strong Lebanon” parliamentary bloc against the amendments to the electoral law.

As a result, the amendments to to the said law are considered effective.

The bloc filed appeal against the amendments pertaining mainly the expatriates vote and the elections law.
