Caretaker Minister of Public Health, Dr. Hamad Hasan, continued his official visit to Turkey, holding meetings with the healthcare officials and concluding an agreement according to which the two countries would exchange medical expertise and services.
In this regard, Dr. Hasan met with his Turkish counterpart, Fahrettin Koca, agreeing with him on establishing a medical cooperation in all the healthcare domains, including the medical drugs. Koca expressed Turkey’s readiness to provide Lebanon with all the medical requirements it needs.
The cooperation will include also preparing all the conditions needed to run the Turkish Hospital in the Lebanese City of Sidon, which would enhance the medical services in Lebanon.
Dr. Hasan also held meetings with representatives of the healthcare agencies and owners of the pharmaceutical companies to open a new horizon of cooperation between the two countries.
