The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Sunday its daily report in which it announced 145 new coronavirus cases, 138 of them for locals and 7 for the arrivals, raising total to 540277.
According to the report, 5 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 7723.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
Caretaker Public Health Minister, Dr. Hamad Hasan, tweeted this evening: “The first batch of one hundred and fifty thousand vaccines is now gratefully received from Pfizer, out of the seven hundred and eighty thousand scheduled to be received in June; Pfizer marathon coming soon; we are by your side to protect you.”
