The Lebanese army reinforced its units deployed in Tripoli as clashes erupted between the protesters and the security forces in the city.
According to Al-Manar reporter, the protesters in Tripoli threw a sound bombs at the security forces, injuring three policemen.
The confrontations between riot police and the protesters off the Tripoli Serail building escalated Wednesday night as the security forces continued to use water cannons and toss tear gas bombs to disperse demonstrators.
Protesters attempted to break into the Serail building incinerated the guardroom, stoned the security forces and threw Molotov cocktails at military vehicles.
NNA mentioned that the clashes left 23 wounded.
