The report added that 21135 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 151027.
According to the report, 41 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 1866.
To face this sharp increase in the coronavirus cases, the Lebanese authorities approved a total lockdown that has started on Thursday, January 14, and lasts for 11 days.
According to Al-Manar TV news bulletin, the second day of the total lockdown witnessed an almost complete commitment across most of the Lebanese provinces amid strict measures taken by the army and security forces.
