Lebanon on Saturday registered 1,769 new coronavirus cases with 13 related fatalities, Health Ministry announced.

In its daily report, the ministry said 1,765 new infections were recorded among local residents, while the other 4 cases were imported, raising the total infections nationwide since February to 93,097.

13 new fatalities were registered over the past 24 hours, raising the nationwide death toll to 713, the ministry added.

12,766 PCR tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, including 878 at Beirut International Airport, according to the report.

782 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours, including 279 at the ICU rooms, the report added, noting that the number of recoveries reached 50,384.
