Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said on Tuesday that US occupation-backed QSD militias continue their crimes against families of the regions where they are positioned, targeting education sector to spread illiteracy through intimidating and depriving children and adolescents from their basic requirements.
“QSD terrorist violations have taken systematized feature since 2013 when they started to intervene in the curricula of the schools, then escalating their acts through seizing, by force, the schools and shifting them into military sites and prisons, benefiting from the US occupation support,” an official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement.
The source added that the stance of the Syrian citizens, that reject those violations, and their insistence to send their children to the governmental schools to follow their education according to Syrian education curricula pushed “QSD” militia to oblige the citizens, students, and educational cadres to obey to their orders and their American masters’ and tighten the noose around them as well as intimidating them with various means, like preventing students from reaching their schools and kidnapping some of them or recruiting them in their ranks.
It affirmed that the persistence of such violations put the credibility of UN bodies concerned in the human rights in front of a real test to condemn them and exert pressure on the states that support those militia hoping to rescue the future of the students of the region from illiteracy and backwardness.
