The Media Office of caretaker Minister of Finance, Ghazi Wazni, issued on Wednesday a statement in which it announced the start of phase one of the forensic auditing of the Central Bank accounts.
The first phase of forensic audit carried out by Alvarez & Marsal was launched today, according to the statement.
“The first step includes a preliminary list of information required from the Central Bank of Lebanon, which Alvarez will deliver to Minister Wazni within the next 24 hours, provided that Oliver, Wyman KPMG and Alvarez, organize the teams that will start work in the near future and will undertake the forensic, financial and accounting audit.”
