Israeli occupation forces hit dozens of targets across the besieged strip of Gaza, with Palestinian resistance responding with mortar attacks against the occupied territories, in the major confrontation with the Zionist entity since 2014 Israeli war.
Occupation military said that 65 targets all throughout the Gaza Strip have been targeted since Tuesday, claiming that the targets included drone storehouses, rocket and armament manufacturing installations, training camps, naval armaments and antiaircraft missile components belonging to Palestinian resistance movements, Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
Palestinian sources said the resistance fighters responded to Israeli aggression by shelling the occupied territories.
Israeli media also reported on Wednesday that Several projectiles from Gaza landed in the occupied territories throughout the night.
“Following alarms earlier in the night, several launches were identified from Gaza towards the Sha’ar HaNegev, Eshkol and Sdot Negev regional councils,” Israeli media outlet Y-Net quoted an occupation Spokesperson’s Unit as saying.
The mortar attacks from Gaza on Tuesday came a day after Israeli tank fire killed a young Palestinian man and injured another in the southern part of the Gaza Strip as the Tel Aviv regime presses ahead with its acts of aggression against the coastal sliver.
