The enemy operation was accompanied by a tightening of restrictions on movement. The occupation forces established numerous military checkpoints and sealed off key entrances to Hebron and surrounding towns and camps, using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds to obstruct main and secondary roads.
In a parallel act of aggression, a group of settlers attacked the outskirts of Burqa village, east of Ramallah, on Tuesday night. The assailants attempted to storm the village before eventually withdrawing. The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that the confrontation concluded without immediate reports of injuries or material damage.
