A joint funding has been allocated by the UAE and the Zionist entity to support the Abu Dhabi-funded “Jusoor News” network, with the armed gangs in Gaza being top priority of the network’s media coverage, Palestinian media reported on Tuesday.
Citing well-informed sources, Shehab Palestinian news agency reported that Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv are coordinating within a joint working group following the ceasefire announcement in Gaza, as part of the so-called “day after war” arrangements.
The goal of this group is to provide a media momentum for the armed gangs in the Gaza Strip, in a bid to whitewash their actions.
According to the sources, this Israeli-Emirati approach was translated into support for specific media outlets, most notably the “Jusoor News” network, which, during the months of the war on Gaza, adopted an anti-resistance rhetoric, then promoted Yasser Abu Shabab’s gang, before later expanding to promote other, smaller gangs.
Earlier on Sunday, Jusoor News hosted Amina Abu Shabab, wife of Yasser Abu Shabab, promoting her as the wife of the leader of the “Popular Forces” in Rafah, sparking widespread controversy.

The interview is seen as an attempt by the Jusoor News to whitewash an Israeli collaborator who heads anti-resistance militia in the besieged enclave, according to Shehab news agency.
“Observers point out that Jusoor News’ interest in promoting Yasser Abu Shabab’s wife comes as part of an effort to present them as ‘local actors’ who ‘defend stability’, in a rhetoric that undermines the ideals of resistance by leveling accusations of internal security lapses.
