Day 29| Monday, October 20, 2024
In response to the Israeli aggression and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance carried out 36 military operations on Monday, October 21, 2024. These operations targeted settlements, sites, barracks, and troop concentrations belonging to the Israeli enemy forces along the Lebanese-Palestinian border with rockets and artillery shells.
In ground confrontations, resistance fighters wrote a heroic epic in the vicinity of the town of Tayyiba, where they thwarted an Israeli enemy force attempting to infiltrate the outskirts of the town. The fighters engaged the force with appropriate weapons, scoring direct hits. They also repelled an armored force attempting to support the targeted unit, forcing it to retreat under a hail of bullets and rocket-propelled grenades.
After precise surveillance of Israeli enemy movements in the vicinity of the town of Rub Thalathin, skilled fighters destroyed a Merkava tank moving on the Aqaba hill with a guided missile, killing and wounding its crew. Resistance fighters also targeted concentrations of Israeli forces in the vicinity of the towns of Ayta al-Shaab, Markaba, Maroun al-Ras, Al-Adaysa, and Kafr Kila with rocket salvos and artillery shells.
While an Israeli infantry force attempted to evacuate the wounded and killed on the eastern outskirts of Markaba, resistance fighters targeted them with a rocket salvo, scoring a direct hit.
In the same context, and in response to Israeli enemy attacks on steadfast southern villages, the resistance’s rocket force bombarded several military bases, settlements, and cities in northern occupied Palestine.
As part of the Kheibar operations series, and in response to the call “Labbaik, Nasrallah,” the resistance’s rocket force targeted the “Glilot” base belonging to the military intelligence division and the “Ta’as” company for military industries in the outskirts of Tel Aviv with specialized rockets.
The resistance’s air force launched a drone attack on the “Yiftah” barracks, hitting its targets with precision. Resistance fighters in the air defense unit also intercepted Israeli warplanes in the Zahran area with surface-to-air missiles, forcing them to leave Lebanese airspace.
The Israeli army acknowledged 17 officers and soldiers were injured in the past 24 hours due to clashes with Hezbollah.
During this day, sirens sounded 31 times in various areas of northern occupied Palestine, particularly in the Galilee Panhandle, the Upper Galilee, the occupied Syrian Golan, and the Lower Galilee.
