On the first anniversary of 2024 Israeli ware on Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance Military Media started issuing an episodic documentary that highlights the various aspects of the Battle of the Formidable in Might.
Hezbollah Military Media affirmed that the series would not be just a presentation of events, but a historical document. Through daily episodes, it records the heroism of men who, with their blood and steadfastness, inscribed shining chapters in the history of resistance.
Battle of the Formidable in Might is the story of those who were never defeated, but who, with their blood, forged a memory of glory and immortality that will remain alive.
Day 28| Sunday, October 20, 2024
In response to the Israeli aggression and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance carried out 25 military operations on Sunday, October 20, 2024. These operations targeted settlements, sites, barracks, and troop concentrations belonging to the Israeli enemy forces along the Lebanese-Palestinian border with rockets and artillery shells.
In ground confrontations, after precise surveillance of Israeli enemy movements in the vicinity of villages on the front lines in southern Lebanon, resistance fighters targeted concentrations of Israeli forces in the vicinity of the towns of Maroun al-Ras, Markaba, Bliida, and Kafr Kila with rocket salvos and artillery shells, scoring direct hits.
In the same context, and in response to Israeli enemy attacks on steadfast southern villages, the resistance’s rocket force bombarded several military bases, settlements, and cities in northern occupied Palestine, from the Haifa area in the west to the occupied Syrian Golan and the occupied Shebaa Farms in the east, including the city of Safad and settlements in the Galilee Panhandle.
As part of the Kheibar operations series, and in response to targeting civilians, the resistance’s rocket force targeted the occupied city of Haifa and the Tira Carmel base south of it, as well as the “Shimshon” base west of Lake Tiberias, with specialized rocket salvos.
Resistance fighters in the air defense unit shot down an enemy Israeli drone of the “Hermes 900” type that was attacking southern villages, and intercepted another, forcing it to leave Lebanese airspace.
The Israeli military correspondent for Yedioth Ahronoth noted that the Israeli enemy army has come to realize the strict military discipline and hierarchical structure of Hezbollah, where hundreds of fighters are deployed at the border, with larger forces held in reserve for a long-term battle.
The Israeli army spokesperson announced that 23 officers and soldiers were injured in clashes with Hezbollah, noting the launch of 70 rockets from Lebanon in less than three minutes, some of which fell near occupied Safad, in addition to a drone explosion southwest of occupied Haifa.
Hebrew media concluded that Hezbollah is fulfilling its promise to turn Haifa into “Kiryat Shmona” by expanding the scope of rocket and drone attacks.
During this day, sirens sounded 31 times in various areas of northern occupied Palestine, particularly in the Galilee Panhandle, the Upper Galilee, and along the coastal strip from Ras al-Naqoura in the north to Carmel in the south.
