The Israeli occupation is continuing its policy of starvation and human extortion in the Gaza Strip, blatantly violating the terms of the ceasefire agreement by allowing only a trickle of the mandated humanitarian aid to enter.
According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, a mere 986 aid trucks have reached the Strip since the ceasefire began. This figure represents a small fraction of the 6,600 trucks that were supposed to have entered by Monday evening, October 20, 2025, as stipulated in the agreement.

The limited convoy included only 14 trucks of cooking gas and 28 trucks of diesel fuel, supplies that are critically needed to operate bakeries, power generators for hospitals, and other vital sectors. This severe shortage comes after long months of a tight blockade and the systematic destruction of the Israeli genocide, leaving over 2.4 million citizens in dire need.
The office highlighted that the daily average of aid trucks has been just 89, falling drastically short of the 600 trucks per day that were expected. This deliberate shortfall, the office emphasized, proves the occupation’s ongoing strategy of suffocation and starvation.

These limited quantities fail to meet the minimum humanitarian and living needs of the population. The office stressed that Gaza urgently requires a steady and massive influx of at least 600 trucks daily, carrying food, medicine, relief supplies, and fuel, to secure even the most basic requirements for a decent life.
While affirming its full readiness to coordinate with international relief organizations to distribute aid, the Government Media Office called on the guarantors of the ceasefire to pressure ‘Israel’ to comply. It warned that the continued delay is causing a rapid and severe deterioration of the humanitarian situation.
On his part, United Nations Secretary-General’s spokesperson, Stéphane Dujarric, expressed concern over Israeli airstrikes that struck Gaza yesterday.
In a press briefing on Monday, Dujarric reaffirmed the Secretary-General’s call for the return of all captives’ remains in Gaza, emphasizing the need for all parties to avoid actions that could reignite hostilities or further hinder humanitarian relief efforts in the Gaza Strip.
