The recently unveiled US-Israeli proposal for Gaza is not a peace plan but a “recipe for blowing up the entire region,” declared Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, on Monday.
In a scathing condemnation, al-Nakhalah asserted that the agreement announced by US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a “full U.S.-Israeli agreement” designed to perpetuate aggression against the Palestinian people.

“This announcement reflects the Israeli position in its most minute detail,” al-Nakhalah stated. “It represents a recipe for continued aggression and an attempt to impose new facts on the ground through the United States, after the occupation failed to achieve them through successive wars.”
The Islamic Jihad leader framed the proposal as an extension of Israeli objectives by other means, arguing that Washington is now enabling what Tel Aviv failed to accomplish militarily.
He issued a stark warning about the consequences, adding that the so-called agreement is “a ready-made recipe for igniting further conflicts.”
The controversial White House plan, revealed late Monday, is a 20-point proposal that would place the Gaza Strip under a transitional administration. This administration would be headed by President Trump himself, assisted by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. The plan explicitly sidelines the existing Palestinian Authority and all Palestinian factions, seeking to establish a new security force in the territory.
