The already crippled healthcare system is facing extreme duress. The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that Al-Shifa Medical Complex continues to operate “despite the difficult current situation.” In a dire warning, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health reported that Israeli forces cut off the internet at Al-Helou Hospital in Gaza City, plunging patients and staff into “a state of panic and fear.”
