Hezbollah offered condolences over martyrdom of senior commander in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Mohammad Saeed Izadi.
In a statement released on Friday, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office extended deepest condolences and warmest congratulations over martyrdom of Brig. Gen. Izadi, known for his nom de guerre “Hajj Ramadan”, who was in charge of Palestine and Al-Quds affair in the IRGC’s Al-Quds Force.
“His martyrdom is a badge of honor on the path to Al-Quds and Palestine and an omen of victory, God willing.”
Hezbollah hailed martyr Izadi, saying he “lived among us for decades as a mujahid, a supporter and a developer, during which he devoted all his energies and capabilities to serving the Palestinian resistance. Through his tireless efforts and deep faith, he was able to bring about a major renaissance in the resistance’s methods, capabilities, manufacturing, and strategies.”
“Through his broad relationships with various resistance groups across the region, he built an effective and influential network of communication. He consistently held strategic and vital meetings aimed at exchanging experiences and strengthening them in the service of the Palestinian cause and its liberation.”

Earlier on Thursday, the IRGC announced that Brig. Gen. Izadi was martyred in the recent Israeli attack on Iranian territory.
Palestinian factions are mourning the death of “the great commander” Saeed Izadi, head of the Palestine Corps in Iran’s Quds Force, also known by his jihadi name, Haj Ramadan.
