As part of the “Stones of David” series of operations, Al-Qassam Brigades released footage of a complex ambush targeting two Israeli armored personnel carriers near Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in the Ma’an area, south of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip. The attack resulted in the deaths of seven soldiers, including an officer.
The operation came after the Mujahideen detonated a “Shawaz” explosive device planted inside the cockpit of one of the armored personnel carriers, completely burning it and its crew. The second armored personnel carrier was also targeted with an explosive device.
Seven Israeli occupation soldiers, including one officer, were killed Tuesday afternoon in a deadly ambush carried out by Palestinian Resistance fighters in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip. The Israeli occupation forces confirmed the deaths on Wednesday, stating the incident occurred during operations in the area.

“Israeli” Occupation Army Radio correspondent said that, a week and a half before the armored personnel carrier disaster, in which a gunman climbed onto the APC and threw an explosive inside, another armed cell also reached point-blank range of an “Israeli” army APC—and survived.
A few days ago, Hamas published footage from the past two weeks showing members of a Hamas cell approaching to point-blank range of an “Israeli” APC and opening fire at it. The gunmen also attempted to press buttons on the vehicle in an effort to open it, he added.
“But instead of running them over—the APC withdrew from the area, and the gunmen survived the encounter. It can now be revealed: inside one of the vehicles during that clash was one of the senior brigade commanders in the “Israeli” army’s Southern Command. Two officers from the commander’s escort team were wounded during the incident.”
