Advisor of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Mohammad Taher Anaam stressed that the United States recently contacted Oman in a bid to reach a ceasefire deal in Yemen.
Anaam added that the US fear of any targeting of President Donald Trump during his visit to the region was behind the new decision.
However, Anaam added that, when the Yemeni Armed Forces fire new ground-shattering missiles at the Zionist entity, the claims of Trump will be exposed and refuted.
Trump had announced the agreement, alleging that the Yemeni side demanded the ceasefire.
The Omani foreign ministry had issued late Tuesday a statement announcing the ceasefire agreement between the United States and the Republic of Yemen after certain negotiations.
The US state department, in turn, acknowledged the agreement of halting the raids on Yemen in return for the stop of the missile attacks on the US warships, which confirms that Washington has surrendered to the Yemeni pressure.
Member of Yemen’s Supreme Politburo Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi affirmed that the Yemeni attacks on the Zionist entity in support of Gaza will certainly continue.
