A Hamas delegation, led by Chief Khalil Al-Hayya, arrived on Saturday in Cairo to discuss with the Egyptian mediators the latest developments of Gaza ceasefire amid Israeli reports about a new softened proposal in this regard.
Hamas sources indicated that the Palestinian Movement did not receive any new proposal pertaining to the ceasefire in Gaza, adding that the Israeli enemy continues the war while deluding the families of its captives in the Strip.
Meanwhile, “Times of Israel” Website noted that Tel Aviv submitted a new proposal in which it demands the release of eight new captives in return for a 45-day truce.
Israeli occupation forces continue their brutal Gaza offensive for the 26th straight day, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu—backed by the US and shielded by global silence—blatantly breaches a ceasefire deal.
The aggression has led to more massacres and acts of genocide against civilians, displaced families, and entire neighborhoods. Since March 18, at least 1,522 civilians have been killed and 3,834 others wounded in varying degrees.
