The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) recently targeted esponiage bases and terrorist gatherings in Syria and Iraq. The precise operations were conducted using the “Kheibar Shekan” ballistic missile, which was launched two years ago on Al-Quds Day’s march in April 2022.
Classified within the IRGC’s third generation of long-range ballistic missiles, this state-of-the-art projectile boasts a range of 1,450 kilometers, establishing it as the latest addition to their arsenal of medium-range missiles.

Fort of Kheibar
It is noteworthy that the term ‘Kheibar-Shekan’ holds significance in Persian, translating to ‘Castle Buster’. This designation is attributed to Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (A.S.), who, in a legendary confrontation during the 7th century, successfully lifted the Fort of Kheibar in a decisive battle against Jewish tribes that opposed Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
