A large number of Venezuelans took into streets in Caracas, protesting against the Western intervention in the course of their upcoming parliamentary elections.
The protestors reiterated their support to the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, rejecting the remarks made by European Union Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell pertaining the elections.
Borrell had stated that the report of the EU observers mission to the election in Venezuela will identify the legitimacy of Maduro’s government, requiring allowing the opposition leader, Juan Guaido, in the elections.
The Venezuelan government also rejected any foreign intervention in the elections which is scheduled to be held on Wednesday.
