Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that the Party will be always confronting the US schemes which target Lebanon, calling on Washington’s allies to consider the Afghani scene to avoid betting on the Americans.

Addressing Hezbollah Ashura mourning ceremony in Beirut, Sheikh Qassem indicated that the US ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, in light of the advance in the governmental file, visited President Michel Aoun in the context of suggesting that the US is part of the cabinet formation achievement.

“Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah has completely exposed the malicious policy of USA in Lebanon.”

Sheikh Qassem also emphasized that the US administration has realized its pressures against the Lebanese has failed to reap the intended outcomes, adding, thus, the Americans are trying to ameliorate their ill-reputed policy in Lebanon.
