The Taliban on Tuesday declared a general amnesty for all government officials and urged them to return to work.
“A general amnesty has been declared for all… so you should start your routine life with full confidence,” said a statement from the Taliban.
Taliban deputy leader Malavi Mohammed Yaqoub issued a directive on Tuesday that no one is allowed to enter the homes of government employees or to seize weapons or vehicles from them.
UK Foreign Secretary Raab said position at Kabul Airport was stabilizing.
“The position at the airport is stabilizing,” Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab told Sky News. “The stability at the airport is absolutely key.”
