Palestinian Resistance factions are ready for a long-term battle with the Israeli occupation, Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar reported on Saturday.
The paper quoted sources close to Hamas Resistance movement as saying that the factions informed that command of the Joint Operations Room that they are ready for a long-term battle with the Israeli occupation army.
The source noted that the rocket fire at the Zionist entity’s south on Friday morning was a response to an Israeli attack earlier in Gaza that caused damage to Hamas positions.
The barrage of rockets launched at the Zionist entity on Friday morning was a show of strength perpetrated by several Resistance factions in the Palestinian enclave, while also responding to earlier Israeli strike targeting of Hamas posts, according to the daily.
Hamas sources reported earlier that all Resistance groups in Gaza agreed that the Israeli occupation must end its blockade on the besieged enclave.
