Palestinian who carried out Ofra operation last Sunday was martyred on Wednesday night by Israeli fire near Ramallah.

Saleh Barghouti, who carried out the attack which injured seven Israelis in Ofra Sunday (Dec 9) was shot by Israeli occupation forces along with another passenger in a taxi in the West Bank town of Surda, north of Ramallah.

The other passenger, Awad Barghouti was injured and taken to a hospital in Al-Quds (Jerusalem), Israeli media reported.

For its part, Hamas resistance movement pronounced martyrdom of Saleh Barghouti, praising his courage.

Occupation forces meanwhile on Wednesday, arrested four other Palestinians suspected of being involved in the shooting in Ofra, Israeli media reported.
