Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi strongly reacted to the most recent allegations by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, saying that such claims once again unveiled the US real face for the Iranian people.
“These statements once again showed the true face of the US for the Iranians,” Qasemi said on Thursday in reaction to Tillerson’s interfering remarks against Iran.
He underlined that the US statesmen who were accomplices to crimes committed by the former regime of Shah by plotting 1953 coup against the legal government of the time and providing all-out support for the dictator regime, have also accomplished the utmost crimes against our people since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution under the guise of supporting the Iranian nation.
Qasemi also said that creations of unrest and turmoil inside Iran, making efforts to conduct coup as well as providing military, economic, political, logistic and intelligence supports for the criminal and despotic regime of Saddam in its imposed war against Iran and imposing illegal sanctions against the great nation of Iran are only a small part of the US interfering measures throughout past 40 years.
“The pompous and totalitarian leaders of the US should now that the efforts aimed at creating rift among the Iranian nation and military and political officials is a futile effort and its only result is reinforcing solidarity and national unity among people as well as increasing the hatred towards the ignorant US statesmen,” the foreign ministry spokesman added.
