At least 15 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip since dawn Thursday, according to hospital sources, as the Israeli occupation escalates its military offensive and issues new warnings demanding the immediate evacuation of Gaza City.
The renewed bombardment comes less than 24 hours after nine civilians—including seven women and two children—were killed in a targeted Israeli strike on a residential home east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
Medical staff at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital described the scene as a massacre, confirming all victims belonged to the same family. Several others were wounded, some critically, and rescue teams continue to search for survivors trapped beneath the rubble.

More Casualties Across Central Gaza
Elsewhere, two Palestinians were martyred and several others, including children, were injured in an airstrike on a home in Al-Bureij refugee camp, according to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat. Doctors reported critical injuries among the wounded and warned of worsening conditions amid severe shortages in medical supplies and equipment.
The strikes were part of a wave of aerial and artillery attacks targeting multiple areas of the besieged enclave in recent hours. Israeli warplanes launched a series of air raids on the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City, while three more strikes hit eastern Khan Younis in the south.
In western Gaza City, heavy shelling pounded the Al-Nasr neighborhood, and artillery fire also hit the eastern outskirts of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Targeting Displacement Centers
The Israeli occupation army detonated a heavily rigged armored vehicle in southern Gaza City, and an Israeli drone dropped a smoke bomb inside Hasan Al-Basri School, which shelters displaced families.
In western Khan Younis, an Israeli occupation reconnaissance drone targeted a tent housing displaced civilians at Al-Aqsa University, wounding at least eight people.
Separately, an Israeli airstrike hit a school sheltering displaced families, killing at least eight people. The Israeli military later claimed it had targeted a Hamas operative and said it had taken “measures to minimize civilian harm”—a statement widely dismissed by rights groups and humanitarian agencies.
“Final Warning” to Gaza City Residents
In a dangerous escalation, the Zionist so-called Defense Minister Israel Katz issued what he called a “final warning” to Gaza City’s remaining population, urging civilians to evacuate immediately southward. He threatened that “anyone who remains will be treated as a terrorist or a supporter of terrorism.”
Katz also claimed Israeli forces have taken full control of the Netzarim corridor—a critical axis running from eastern Gaza to the Mediterranean—effectively severing the northern and southern parts of the Strip. Movement, he said, would only be allowed through Israeli-controlled military checkpoints.

Hamas: “Escalation of War Crimes”
Hamas condemned Katz’s remarks, calling them “a blatant embodiment of arrogance and contempt for international law” and “a prelude to further war crimes against civilians.”
In a statement, the group asserted that the Israeli occupation forces commit “ethnic cleansing and forced displacement in Gaza through mass killings, home demolitions, and the targeting of civilians” and urged immediate action from the international community, particularly Arab and Muslim nations.
Humanitarian Collapse Deepens
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced the suspension of its operations in Gaza City due to the escalating military assault, warning that “tens of thousands of civilians are facing horrific humanitarian conditions.”
The decision follows a similar move last week by Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), which suspended its operations due to the ongoing siege. Some UN agencies are still attempting to operate despite the mounting dangers.
Toll of Genocide
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli enemy has waged what Palestinian officials and numerous international human rights groups describe as a campaign of genocide in Gaza. Over 66,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 169,000 injured, the overwhelming majority of them women and children. The war has decimated infrastructure, triggered mass displacement, and pushed the enclave into a catastrophic famine.
